Introduction to life events

During your membership of the Fund your circumstances may change, for example you may

• get married
• have children
• or even get divorced.

These events have an impact on your membership of the Fund, particularly in the event of your death. You should therefore make sure that the administering authority is aware of how you would want you life assurance cash lump sum and dependant(s) pension(s) paid.

You can do this by completing a Death Grant Nomination form setting out your wishes. While the administering authority is not legally bound to follow your wishes, it usually does.
